This is the complete version of the song I’ve been posting for the last while. Drums added, parts finished, finishing touches to go on and then its a finished piece of music.

Watch this space for me to upload a properly recorded version in the coming weeks, with better quality sound, and less of that awfully brash cymbal.

So I’m challenging myself to use as many time signatures as possible… can you name them all?

I created a lively rock track, it just needs drums and some finishing touches to be done!

Here’s another brief post, this time a WIP of a project I’m undertaking to practice film and soundtrack compositional skills.

Composed this with the aim of creating fitting music for an Ice or Crystal Cavern. Inspiration came from seeing this setting in a lot of games but never with what I felt was suitable music, such as FFIX, and Tales of Vesperia.

Composed entirely on the computer, using Native Instruments FM8, Garritan Personal Orchestra, and Guitar Pro 6

GB Recommends music...

So just to let you all know, I’m keeping a second blog active to recommend more music than just my own stuff. There’ll be a bit of crossposting, but follow it if you’re interested in what music I’m discovering!

Production and drums - Cubase 5

tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INANIMATE OBJECT?

My guitar. Don’t ask me to pick just one of them though…

Yours truly, in full on B-Movie villain mode. MUWAHAHAHAHAH! Now where’s my monocle?
So this is a blog about a bunch of music, run by, me, GuitarBizarre, one of the internets many musicians. In my spare time, I enjoy playing pool, mountain biking, and long rambling conversations about anything and everything. (For that matter, why is it so hard to find someone to natter on with for hours at a time?) Fact is folks, I’ll be posting a lot of music here, and hopefully that might lead to good things!
